Summit Helicopters Contracted By CBC Documentary Wild Canada

Summit Helicopters has been contracted to carry a film crew as they capture caribou migration for the documentary, Wild Canada, presented by Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC)’s The Nature of Things. It is an epic four-part series that takes place across the vast scale of the Canadian landscape, revealing the country as it has never been seen before.

Wild Canada takes an awe-inspiring look at the world around us, shot with ultra-high-definition cameras that capture sweeping panoramas and extraordinary close-ups of Canada’s majestic terrain and diverse species. David Suzuki will be narrating the piece when filming is complete. Summit is helping to capture the autumn episode.

During filming, the film crew will be using one of Summit’s Bell 206LR helicopter. A Cineflex camera has been attached to its anterior for filming purposes.

We are proud to play such a pivotal role in this iconic documentary that captures the essence of Canada’s north where we are based.
